This music monday is about an artist that i am actually going to see tonight at the House of Blues here in Orlando. Him and his band will be playing with One Republic and I am pretty exited about seeing them too, but the main reason that I am jacked about this show is because of Dave Barnes. At first I thought that he was just a funny guy who was decent at playing music, but mostly did it for comedy. The first time I heard of him was from the second video below. I just stumbled across it through surfing the web and I thought it was freakin hilarious. Then I heard about his new album called “Me and You and the World”. I listened to a few songs and though it was pretty good so I bought it on itunes. Now it has become one of those albums that I constantly listen to. To me, he sounds like a more jazzy John Mayer. His vocals are amazing and he writes amazing melodies so if you like good music you will like Dave Barnes. Thats all I have to say about that
