Yesterday I was shocked to receive a phone call that a young man named Cole Lentz, whom I have had the pleasure of being around and getting to know for the past three or four years in my old youth group in Georgia, had past away from an automobile accident. It took all night for this news to really sink in and even now as I am typing this I honestly can’t believe that he is gone. I mean I saw him just a few weeks ago…. Cole was hilarious, I really don’t remember ever looking at him without laughing because of a face that he made or something he said. He was just a real joy to be around. He was only 16 years old. Two of his friends were in the car with him, whom I have also had the pleasure of getting know over the past few years, Trea Smith and Garrett Hart. From what I have heard Garrett has a broken arm and is doing fairly well. Trea has suffered brain bruising and has a lot of fluid in his lungs. Please be in prayer for Cole’s family and Trea’s and Garrett’s recovery.
